The Company BALTIC FEEDFOOD was established in 2022 as the Estonian agency of the Ukrainian operator of agricultural products – PHOENIX AGRO.
We operate in the field of agricultural and food production guided by sustainable values and a clear vision, and committed to creating a safe and sustainable future.
We have more than 120 employees in Ukraine and Europe.
We deliver around 500 thousand tons of products to the final consumer annually.
We deliver grains and feed to Europe, Africa, and Asia by road, rail, and sea transport.

Ukrainian export
Ukraine is one of the most important world producers of grain. According to the data of European Commission, 10% of wheat, 15% of corn, and 13% of barley are Ukrainian share in world’s market of grain. Ukraine also is the most crucial player on the market of sunflower oil and meal. 50% of world’s market is Ukrainian sunflower oil.
BALTIC FEEDFOOD is an operator on the Ukrainian market of grains, oilseeds and processed products, which has the largest integrated network of suppliers and transportation. BALTIC FEEDFOOD has the opportunity to export products from Ukraine to Europe by rail and road transport directly to the destination. Also, we can deliver agricultural products through the ports of the Danube shipping.
The First Ukrainian Agricultural Cooperative
The First Ukrainian Agricultural Cooperative (the First UAC) is a multipurpose (universal) service cooperative. It was established in 2017 as a separate service type for progressive medium-sized agro enterprises of Ukraine, which strived to use the advantages of agricultural holdings.
Today the Cooperative consolidated 74 large farms in Ukraine in 12 administrative regions. The total land bank is 210 thousand hectares. More than 1 million tons of grain and oilseeds are grown annually on the farms of the Cooperative.
The First UAC solves the following tasks:
- sales of products and purchase of material resources;
- development of financial instruments for capital investments;
- development and implementation of investment projects.
BALTIC FEEDFOOD performs one of the fundamental functions of the First UAC. The Company ensures the consolidated sales of the grown production and purchase of the main production requirements.

- vegetable oil.
Certificates
GMP+ is a certification scheme with clear, modular requirements. Compliance with the requirements provides the safety of feeds and feed ingredients, services as to storage/transportation (FSA), and application of responsible production methods (FRA) throughout the supply chain. It is about establishing criteria for each stage of feed supply, which includes: the production of feed materials, storage, transportation, production of premixes and compound feed, monitoring system, and laboratory research.
BALTIC FEEDFOOD shares European values. The Company joined and follows system management according to GMP+ principles. As a result, BALTIC FEEDFOOD has:
- an implemented safety management system for feed and feed ingredients;
- availability of GMP+ certified suppliers of feed raw materials;
- monitoring system following the requirements of the standard module (FSA or FRA).
ISCC is a globally applicable certification system of sustainable development that covers all sustainable raw materials, including biomass in agriculture. ISCC was developed for global use. It covers the sustainable production criteria evaluation, management criteria, traceability documentation, and assessment of greenhouse gas savings calculations.
BALTIC FEEDFOOD is certificated as trader of raw materials and intermediate products (corn, barley, rapeseed, soybean oil, rapeseed oil, sunflower oil).
BALTIC FEEDFOOD therefore meets the following points:
- Biomass is not produced on land with high biodiversity and high carbon stock
- Good agricultural practices protecting soil, water and air are applied
- Human rights, labour and land rights are respected
- Sustainable material is traceable throughout international supply chains
- Greenhouse gas reduction targets are met (e.g. for European biofuels markets)
